Established by Gregg Melrose in 1998 after many years of working for the largest privately owned crane company in Sydney, Melrose Cranes and Rigging now provides a large and diverse crane hire service to the Sydney Metropolitan region but has the flexibility and capacity to go anywhere.

With the acquisition of our new Grove GMK7450 (450t) crane, Melrose Cranes and Rigging now has the largest roadable hydraulic crane on the East Coast of Australia and intend to provide this crane to our clients from South Australia, Victoria through NSW and up to Queensland and elsewhere if required.

Melrose Cranes and Rigging provide Cranes with experienced crews for all size jobs from the smallest house to the largest power infrastructure projects and are also specialist tilt panel and pre-cast erectors.

Melrose Cranes and Rigging operate a large Taxi Fleet, however we also provide Site Cranes that can be left on hire for long periods.
