Simple Logistics for Complex Lifting
Melrose Cranes & Rigging is a Sydney based family owned business, established in 1998 who now supply one of the largest modern Mobile Crane Fleets in NSW. With cranes ranging in size from small City Cranes & Franna’s to the largest road legal All Terrain Crane on the East Coast of Australia. Melrose Cranes & Rigging have positioned themselves to be a leader in today’s Heavy Lift market with their Grove GMK7450 (450t) & Demag AC350 (350t) All Terrain Cranes.
MCR are strategically located at the intersection of the M7 & M2 motorways in Sydney which allows us to mobilise to all points at short notice utilising our own Fleet of Prime Movers that are all B-Double rated to minimise truck movements.
Our policy has been to supply a suitable crane for any Project, at anytime and anywhere in Australia. Since the acquisition of the GMK7450 & AC350 has travelled to sites for clients in South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland and the ACT as well as our full coverage of NSW. MCR is now a supplier of Mobile Cranes to the largest Wind Power Generation Company in the world on Wind farms in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania & SA.
Since MCR’s inception we have supplied our large fleet of Mobile Cranes to the Building and Construction Industry and been involved in numerous Mining and Refinery Shutdowns using Main Boom, Fixed Fly, Luffing Fly and Superlift configurations.
With the acquisition of the GMK7450 & AC350 Melrose Cranes & Rigging have established ourselves as a leader in the installation of Super ‘T’ Bridge Beams on many Major Infrastructure Projects throughout NSW. In many cases Dual Lifting of Bridge Beams has been a requirement where conditions require.
